The real question is, can it run without being downgraded to the point it loses its appeal? Given the work we’ve seen Virtuos Studios do with XCOM 2, and Saber Interactive with The Witcher 3, I’d say it has a shot.
But Mortal Kombat XI, DOOM Eternal, Borderlands 2, Bioshock, The Witcher 3 (that game has nude sex for goodness sakes), Saint’s Row 3/4, Dark Souls, Hellblade, it’s all on Switch. Current Nintendo wants all the blood and gore and nudity they can get their hands on, they just don’t advertise that content or make it themselves. The old era of Yamauchi Nintendo is over.
Literal dozens of games now that were censored on PS4 that came to Switch 100% uncensored. Nintendo is now THE anti-censorship console for most Japanese 3rd party games due to Sony now being the one who censors. I know this thread is old, but I wanted to chime in on the idea of a Switch port.īut first, Idk what kind of preconceived notions some of you guys have about Nintendo, but it’s not 1994 anymore.
